Sculpting is one of the things I do best. Cats are some of the best things on the planet. So I decided to combine these two, and the resulting paw print charm is a very cute and simple craft idea. You can give it to a friend as a gift, or keep it for yourself, or clip it to your cat's collar.
YOU'LL NEED-
-Medium-sized ball of clay, your choice of color (I use Sculpey)
-Toothpick
-Eyelet
1. Divide up the clay into two balls- one large and one small. Squish the large ball into a thick disc.
2. Shape the disc into a shape somewhat like this, with four little bumps on top-
3. Take the small ball and pull off a little bit. Form it into a rounded, wide triangle that fits onto the base of the larger shape.
4. Take the rest of the smaller ball and form it into four tiny teardrop shapes that will fit upside down into the four bumps on the large shape.
5. Gently press the smaller shapes into the larger shape.
6. Gently screw in the eyelet. Bake as directed.
